Hadden Place is a specialised day and overnight respite centre, offering a safe, secure, and welcoming environment where each guest is well cared for.
With experienced carers, a wide range of engaging activities, and support tailored to individual needs, Hadden Place delivers truly personalised care.
Located in the modern Dovetree building at Sinnamon Village and overlooking peaceful bushland, it provides a tranquil setting where guests can feel right at home.
It's okay not to be okay. It's okay to seek help and that's what we're here for. Respite is key to taking care of yourself because whilst your loved one is here being cared for by Haden Place staff, you can go out and care for yourself even if it's just to sit in the sun and read a book.
A typical day group is our staff leave around 8:30 to go out in our little mini bus to pick people up from their home. Bring them back. When they arrive, they have some morning tea. Then they do some activities. Pre-planned activities or just plan on the spot.
I leave my door open because I love hearing the laughter, the chatter, the music and the fun. Just knowing that we here at Hadden Place are making such a difference in people's lives.

Access to government funded respite is determined through a My Aged Care assessment. It's typically used to support carers by providing short-term care for the person they support. In some cases, respite services may still be available even if a person does not have an active carer.

Terms and Conditions
The offer is subject to the following terms and conditions of acceptance.
- The offer is limited to one (1) complimentary respite session at the Hadden Place Respite Centre owned and operated by Wesley Mission Queensland Limited ABN 71 675 794 911 (WMQ, we, us, our).
- The offer is valid until, and must be redeemed by you (the Participant), on or before 30 June 2026.
- The offer applies to day respite services only and is not valid for overnight respite care.
- The offer can only be redeemed once per Participant and is subject to availability and Participant eligibility.
- Participant eligibility is subject to criteria determined by way of pre-assessment screening questions asked of you by us during a pre-assessment screening process.
- The offer does not apply to Participants who do not engage in the pre-assessment screening process to our satisfaction or meet the required criteria, as determined at WMQ’s absolute discretion.
- WMQ may withdraw the offer at any time, irrespective of availability, Participant eligibility or Participant acceptance of the offer, at its absolute discretion.
- You (the Participant) and we agree to indemnify each other against any direct losses, damages, or expenses arising from claims, actions, or proceedings brought by third parties, but only to the extent such losses are caused by the indemnifying party. The liability of the indemnifying party under this clause will be reduced proportionally to the extent that any negligent or unlawful acts or omissions of the indemnified party contributed to the event giving rise to the indemnity.
