After 13 days and 300 kilometres, 90-year-old Hummingbird House volunteer and fundraiser Athol Alcorn walked over the finish line last Sunday, to the delight of his crowd of supporters.

We are delighted to announce that Wesley Mission Queensland raised over $225,000 at our Giving Day!

Christmas may seem a distant memory but we are still celebrating the efforts of our volunteer Christmas wrappers who raised more than $32,600 for our Emergency Relief Hub.

This year's Coles Hummingbird House appeal raised more than $1 million to support babies, children and young people living with a life-limiting condition.

This year WMQ again held the charity gift wrapping station at Westfield Chermside.

On Wednesday we held our first ever 24-hour Christmas Appeal Giving Day. Over $180,000 was raised for our Emergency Relief services throughout South East Queensland for those doing it tough during the holiday season.

With almost 700,000 Queenslanders living in poverty and 365,000 living on Jobseeker or youth allowance payments, Wesley Mission Queensland has set out to distribute a quarter of a million dollars’ worth of food relief leading up to Christmas.
